The Mini Lucy (PDF Tote Bag Sewing Patterns) is a perfect addition to your bridal theme and bridesmaids outfits or even for the little princess in your life who simply likes to dress up rather than dress down! With the sweet little bow details to the front (choose one, two or three bows depending on the sense of occasion!), a pocket to the back and a roomy inside, the Lucy ‘Mini’ is large enough to hold every little girls dreams along with a heap of confetti and all the flower petals you might need.

As a crisp and sheer fabric, we recommend that the Lucy ‘Mini’ is made from 100% cotton organdy /organdie. You can also choose to fully line your bag if you wish for that extra touch of ready to make couture luxury (although this is not necessary). Enjoy…

Fabrics

This Mini Lucy (PDF Tote Bag Sewing Patterns) is ideally suited for use with a non-fraying fabric with good body such as oilcloth, soft leather, recycled Eco leather, vinyl, faux leather or fine suede. These can easily be sewn on a domestic sewing machine with a walking foot or Teflon coated foot.

If your fabric does fray (a little) then don’t worry as this can be considered as part of the look and can look lovely too! (although you will need to finish the seams inside your bag). Alternatively you might choose to line each of the pattern pieces for that extra special fully lined finish to your handbag.

Tools & Materials Required

• 60cm Width x 60cm Length – for the external fabric.
• 90cm Width x 60cm Length – if you wish to add decorative lining to your bag.
• Everything else will need to be purchased at your local haberdashery store.
• A4 /US letter size printer (remember to use ‘actual size’ setting when printing on your home printer).
• A3 printer: select ‘actual size’ and ‘landscape’ mode.
• Please Note: Simply use these PDF sewing patterns on your home printer (they are not suitable for Cricut, ScanNCut, Silhouette, etc. cutting machines).

Competency Level

As a beginner to intermediate sewer who can read pattern instructions, cut out from a template and sew competently you will find this sewing pattern a straightforward and simple to sew experience.
