Here’s How Quick Steps: This is your quick visual reference guide to make a layered SVG cut file greetings card design. In the visual reference guide (click on the featured image to see more) we are using the Holly Wreath Christmas Charm Card to show you how to make your card.

Layered SVG cut file greeting card steps

1. Once all your layered SVG cut files are on your artboard, re-size all your cut file layers simultaneously (important).
2. Cut all layers in the colors and materials of choice. We like to use card for the lower layers and vinyl for the upper layers but this is a personal preference!
3. Glue & position your lower SVG cut file layers first. Start with the penultimate layer, check the position and line up accordingly, apply adhesive to the underside and glue in place.
4. Use transfer tape to easily position and place your Vinyl layers.
