1 x Mitred Shadow Box Picture Frame Side (cut 4) and can be cut from US Letter/A4 Card.
1 x Inner Back Plate
1 x Back Wall Hanger can be cut from the off cuts from the blank frame plate.
1 x Blank Frame Template

The decorative Frame Plates can be cut from 12″ x 12″ Card.

The measurements of your shadow box picture frame SVG are:-:
– Internal: 8″ 8″ x 1″
– External: 10″ x 10″ x 1″

These can be scaled to your requirements and cutting machine limits.

No scoring tool or wheel needed….just follow instructions to score and fold by hand.

Shadow Box Picture Frame SVG Step-By-Step Guide

Step 1

Use your cutting machine to cut out 4 frame sides, 1 blank frame template, 1 inner back plate, 1 back wall hanger and a decorative frame plate/s of your choice.

Score each of the 4 shadow box picture frame sides from arrow head to arrow head and make 5 crisp fold lines.

Step 2

This diagram is to indicate where to place either your double sided sticky tape or adhesive.

A – Step 3.

B – Step 4.

C & D – Step 5.

Step 3

Place double sided sticky tape (best) or adhesive on the area marked A (See Step 2.) on each of your 4 shadow box picture frame sides and

Step 4

Fold your frame over to stick to the (underside of) area marked B (See Step 2.). Be sure to keep your edges straight and true when folding.

Step 5

With one picture frame side at a time, place double sided sticky tape (best) or adhesive onto the areas marked C & D (See Step 2.) :-

Match each straight corner to each 45 degree corner.
Tuck your straight corner under the 45 degree corner.
Stick firmly in place being sure that your angles are at 45 degrees.

Step 6

All four of your mitred corners should now look like this.

Step 7

Insert your inner back plate inside your – frame and stick into place.

Step 8

Now is the time to place your artwork inside your frame… exciting !

Step 9

Position your blank frame plate on top of your made up frame and stick firmly into place.

If you purchased the 3D Shadow Box Picture Frame with the decorative frame plates, then please continue to Step 9. Otherwise please jump to Step 10.

Step 10

Position your decorative frame plate on top of your blank frame template and stick firmly into pace. If you would like more depth or are using the multi layered decorative frame plates then use double sided foam tape to give more depth and a 3D effect.

Step 11

Back wall hanger: Score from arrow head to arrow head and fold. Use double sided sticky tape (best) or adhesive and position centrally onto the upper back of your made up frame.
