What is the difference between a Shamrock and a Clover?
Shamrocks have long since been a symbol of Ireland. The difference between a Shamrock and a Clover is very simple. A Shamrock traditionally has three leaves whereas a Clover can have two, three, four or more leaves. Both a four leaf clover and a three leaf Shamrock are considered symbols of good luck. St. Patrick used the shamrock to explain the holy trinity with each leaf representing the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. The three leaves of the three leaf Shamrock are also said to represent faith, hope & love. In ancient times these Celtic charms were believed to offer magical protection.

This three leaf Shamrock is very simple to make leaving you to enjoy the creativity that comes with making your paper flower projects. The presentation gift card enables you to gift as many lucky Shamrocks as you like… this is where your floral artistry can really come in to play!
The Three Leaf Shamrock Cricut cut file templates can be cut on your cutting machine using the SVG or PNG files or can be cut by hand using the PDF templates. The files are also sent out in DXF, EPS & JPEG in case you need these too. This paper template is an original hand drawn and digitised artwork that we have designed and is available as an instant download template set that can easily be cut, re-sized, edited etc.

Tools & Materials Required
- Cutting Machine (this is optional, but recommended): Our Three Leaf Shamrock Cricut cut file is compatible with the Brother Scan N Cut, Cricut, Silhouette, CNC Laser Cutting Machines and other craft cutters. Included in the file download are the following file types SVG, PNG, JPG, EPS, DXF and PDF (Please check that your cutting machine uses one of these file types prior to purchase).
- A good quality 165Ib card stock in A4/US letter or 12” x 12” etc. A4/US letter or 12” x 12” etc.
- A paper curling tool (a metal edge ruler or scissors to curl your paper is absolutely fine!).
- Glue (glue gun recommended) and a liquid glue such as PVA.
- Sharp scissors (if you wish to cut by hand).
