When we make our layered SVG cut file designs it is often the upper layers that tend to be more intricate. Our material of choice is often standard 65Ib card stock. It cuts so well and the array of colors is amazing.
However, when we make a decision about using vinyl or card for our upper layers this can depend on the size of the project and how detailed the cut is. The featured image is a quick snap shot of the top layer of one our new mini SVG cut file Christmas card collections. We cut the upper layer in both card and vinyl and we finally went with the vinyl (once we geared up to do the weeding!) as the deep matt red went with the vintage Christmas theme that we are working on at the moment.
