Laying your card, vinyl or other material onto your mat in readiness for cutting your SVG files tip

Here is a quick Cricut cut file card tip when preparing for your SVG cut file project and positioning your Cardstock, vinyl or other material prior to cutting your cut files for your Cricut, ScanNCut or Silhouette machines:

When laying card, vinyl or other material onto your cutting machine mats it really helps to get a good and EVEN stick. A soft roller (shown in the featured image) made from foam that can be found in most hardware stores (try along the wallpaper isles) will help to adhere your card evenly from the middle of your card, vinyl or other material and right out towards and along the edges.

• Useful, particularly when your cutting mats are lacking a bit in their stickiness and helps to prolong their life.
• High lights any small bumps of debris that may hinder your cut that need to be removed prior to cutting.
• The softer nature of the roller also means it is kinder to your wrists too!
