Best tip for cleaning your cutting machine mat - cricut cutting mat tip — Scrape inside a shoe box lid

To save yourself time cleaning up, and we all know how tedious that part of crafting is!

Find yourself a box lid (we found an old shoe box lid) that is wide enough to accommodate your cutting mat and break down one of the longer sides (if rectangular in shape).
Place your cutting mat in the box lid.
Now when you scrape, scrape off the left over cuttings toward the back of the box lid and all the cuttings then stay within the lid.
When you have cleared the cutting mat of the left over cuttings, simply pour the cuttings directly into your recycle bin. A very simple and easy to keep your craft area clean!
